A Redding woman arrested less than a month ago for methamphetamine sales at a Redding motel has been arrested again for methamphetamine sales at the same motel.

Tearney Lemon, 20, was pulled over leaving the Ponderosa Inn near the 2000 block of Pine Street Wednesday night. A routine search led investigators to approximately one ounce of methamphetamine.

Lemon was arrested again for possession of methamphetamine for sale, transportation of methamphetamine. Her bail amount was enhanced due to the fact she committed a new felony while out on bond.

This arrest comes on the heels of another arrest February 19 where Lemon and boyfriend Richard Garitty, 45 years, were both detained at the Ponderosa Inn.

Both Garitty and Lemon had been living at the hotel for a long time, according to motel managers and police.

A search of the motel room at that time revealed more than two ounces of methamphetamine, scales, baggies, cash money and meth smoking devices.

Both Garitty and Lemon were arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sales, and maintaining a residence for the possession, use, and sales of controlled substances. Garitty was also charged with delaying and obstructing officers as well as violation of probation. Both were booked at Shasta County Jail.

Garrity remained in custody but Lemon posted bond.
