Woman arrested for allegedly beating boyfriend with baseball bat

A Glenn County woman was arrested over the weekend after she allegedly beat her boyfriend with a baseball bat.

According the Glenn County Sheriff's Office a 37-year old man called police saying his girlfriend, 35-year-old Jami Fisher, attacked him with a baseball bat and then left the house early Saturday morning.

The victim told deputies he and Fisher had been at a baseball game consuming alcohol Friday night, he returned home, but Fisher continued drinking with some friends.

When Fisher returned home she allegedly started punching the victim. The altercation moved outside at which time the victim picked up a baseball bat and started swinging it at the victim.

After the alleged attack Fisher turned the bat on the victim's car, smashing the driver's side window. She fled the scene after the alleged attack. Deputies took a report and left. The victim declined medical treatment.

Fisher returned home at 5:30 a.m. and the victim again contacted the sheriff's office. Deputies arrived and took Fisher into custody for investigation of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.
