Our week started sunny and warm yet again. We'll continue with mostly sunny skies, but temperatures are going to feel much more seasonable very soon!
A potent (but relatively dry) cool front is ready to move into the North State, and that will bring us big changes. The incoming cool air will put our high temperatures close to average for early April... not cold, but much cooler than we have been recently. Surface high pressure will build into the Pacific Northwest behind the passage of this front, and that will kick up a gusty north wind. We'll see gusts to 25 mph in the Valley on Tuesday, with 35 mph gusts possible on Wednesday! Thursday could still see gusts to 25 mph in the morning, before those winds finally die down.
A storm will brush the North State this weekend, cooling us down even further (below average temperatures, for a change!) That storm could bring a few showers to the Siskiyous, but the Valley should remain dry.
