A drop in daytime high temperatures, the potential for mountain showers, and stronger winds are ahead in your Tuesday forecast. Temperatures only dropped into the 50 to 59 degree range in the valley overnight, and mountain areas dipped into the mid 30's to high 40's. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid 50's to mid 60's in the mountains, and in the low 70's for the valley. Despite the 10 degree drop in high temperatures, they will still be above average for this time of year. Winds will be much stronger today, and are projected to be up to 20mph out of the Northwest, with gusts up to 30mph.
Winds will increase on Wednesday, and could stay strong for Thursday. Temperatures are not expected to fluctuate much, and will mostly climb into the low to mid 70's for the latter part of the work week in the valley. The potential for showers will arrive in your Easter Sunday forecast, and could persist into the beginning of next week. I hope everyone enjoys the milder temperatures, and has a great Tuesday!
