Willows man arrested for alleged drug sales, child endangerment

A GLINTF task force arrested a Willows man after a probation check led to the discovery of methamphetamine and firearms.

The Glenn Interagency Narcotics Task Force and the Glenn County Probation Department went to check on 24-year-old Hector Joseph Chirino on Friday July 11. Officers found 17.9 grams of methamphetamine, narcotics paraphernalia, a .22 caliber handgun and a child in the N. Humboldt Street apartment.

GLINTF agents estimate that the street value of the meth is $1,790.

Chirino was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, child endangerment, and possession of a controlled substance while armed and violation of felony probation. He was booked into the Glenn County Jail and bail was set at $173,000.
