College can be a very stressful time. To help unwind, the Chico State Health Advisory Council hosted a “Distress Fest” Wednesday.
Dozens of students attended the event at the Wildcat Recreation Center. Several different campus clubs offered a variety of services including blood pressure tests, nutrition information and massages.
Butte Humane also stopped by with cats and dogs.
This event is aimed to help students distress before finals time.
”I hope that students take away that finals is only a few days long,” said Carlie Holderbein, Chico State Health Advisory Council vice president. “We can all push through and get through it together if we work together and try to make it calm.”
Chico State finals start Dec. 16.
