Our morning started out with scattered showers across the North State, which dried up by the afternoon. More wet weather is coming tomorrow... then it will get warm!
We saw a few rain showers in the Valley early this morning, and snow showers in the mountains. Moisture was limited with this storm, but it was cold... snow fell on the Ridge! Magalia saw about 1/2", while Paradise didn't see much accumulation. Our next storm will arrive in the afternoon, the warmest part of the day... and it will be somewhat warmer itself. So, look for the snow levels to be a little higher. It's also a bit of a wetter storm... we could pick up around 1/10" in the Valley.
We'll be dry by Thursday, but it will take a few days to clear the clouds out. High pressure will strengthen going into the weekend, and look for Valley highs near 60 by Friday, and near 70 by next Monday!
We may stay dry for most of next week, but I still don't think this is a long lasting pattern change. El Nino is still going, and I suspect we'll get back to the wet weather later this month.
