Clouds moved in on this Veteran's Day, which knocked high temperatures down almost 10 degrees. No rain from these clouds, but that will change Wednesday night. An approaching storm from the Pacific will bring us rain starting Wednesday night, but ending early Thursday morning. This quick moving storm isn't that cold, so snow levels will remain around 7000'. We're looking at around 1/4" of rain in the Valley, but higher amounts in the mountains, of course. By Thursday afternoon, the storm will be mostly east of us, and we could see some sun return to the Valley.
Weak high pressure will try to return this weekend, leading to a mix of sun and clouds but dry weather. Then it gets interesting next week.
Long range models are still not in complete agreement... but some are suggesting high pressure will totally collapse, and usher in a parade of storms next week! The Tuesday storm looks like a pretty good bet, but there is still some disagreement after that. But the potential for a wet week next week exists... So cross your fingers for that!
