Wet weather has returned to the north state overnight. Light, and scattered showers have been tracking through the area so far, but more sustained precipitation looks likely for the afternoon. Temperatures are also significantly warmer than 24 hours ago. Valley locations are starting out in the mid to high 40's, after falling into the low to mid 30's yesterday. Mountain areas are starting out in the low 30's to low 40's this morning. Winds are projected to be light for your Wednesday. Showers will be stronger on Thursday, but temperatures will still be in the same range as today. A chance for scattered showers will linger on Friday, but it looks like the region will have a short break from the wet weather. The heaviest precipitation is expected to arrive in the north state late Friday night, and will last through Saturday.
Dry conditions will return to the region on Sunday, and that's just in time for this weekend's Christmas Preview in Chico! I hope everyone stays safe on the wet roads, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
