Wet weather has returned to the far northern area of the north state overnight. Showers and thunderstorms have been observed tracking through the Redding area early this morning. More showers will be possible for areas closest to the Oregon border throughout your Monday. Valley temperatures are starting out in the mid 40's to low 50's, and are projected to climb into the low to mid 60's this afternoon. Winds are expected to be light, and humidity values are only projected to drop to around 80 percent. Your Monday sunrise is set for 7:14am, and sunset at 5:28pm.
Dry weather, and partly cloudy skies will be ahead for Tuesday/Wednesday, before the next chance for showers returns on Thursday. Widespread rain will arrive in the valley by Friday, and last through your weekend forecast.
