Mostly cloudy skies, and scattered showers are lingering into your Monday forecast. Showers will be most prevalent over the next few hours, with a chance of some lingering into the afternoon. Temperatures are starting out in the low 50's for the valley, and mid 30's to low 40's in the higher elevations. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid 50's to low 60's in the valley, and mid 40's to mid 50's in the mountains. Today's winds are expected to be light.
Rain returns to the region on Tuesday, with showers lingering on Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday's system will be warmer, and snow levels are only expected to fall to around 7000 feet. Temperatures will dip back into the mid 50's for the valley over those 3 days. Dry weather, warmer temperatures, and clearing skies will be ahead for your late week, and weekend forecast.
I hope everyone stays safe on the wet roads, and has a marvelous Monday!
