A chilly morning, and increasing clouds will be the big factors in your Tuesday forecast. Temperatures are starting out in the low to mid 30's for most of the valley this morning, but that is a little bit warmer than yesterday. The Northern Sierra is starting out in the mid to high teens, and Northern Mountains are in the mid to high 20's. Afternoon high temperatures will climb into the mid 60's for the valley, and to anywhere between 51 to 61 degrees in the mountains. Winds will continue to be modest, and are only projected to be up to around 10mph out of the North.
Light showers will return to the region on Wednesday, and ramp up on Thursday. The presence of more moisture in the atmosphere will help to keep overnight low temperatures a little more bearable, but will also result in a drop in high temperatures. The chance for showers will extend into your Saturday forecast, before dry conditions return for Sunday. I hope everyone has properly bundled up for the chilly temperatures this morning, and has a great Tuesday!
