Wet weather has returned to the North State Friday night, along with breezy south winds. Look for about 1/2" of rain in the Valley, along with gusts to 25 mph. The snow level will remain near 5000', as this is yet another mild storm.
It's also a relatively quick moving one... Look for the rain to end early tomorrow morning, and the skies to turn partly cloudy pretty quick. Skies will turn mostly cloudy by Sunday and our next storm will bring us light rain Sunday night... It doesn't look that impressive. But we should see at least a little bit of rain.
That rain will dry up quickly Monday morning, and both Monday and Tuesday look partly cloudy. Yet another storm will approach us Wednesday, turning our skies cloudy and causing the south winds to gust to 25 mph by the afternoon.
Rain should move in Wednesday night, and continue into Thursday night. This one looks pretty good, and could soak us with 1" of rain in the Valley. It's also got a bit of a pressure gradient with it, so south winds will be gusty Thursday... near 35 mph. Finally, it also has some cold air associated with it, so snow levels will drop to near 4000'. This storm is still a ways out, so we'll have to fine tune the details as it gets closer, but that's the way it looks right now.
