Wednesday was another mild day around the North State, but a storm will bring heavy rain and gusty winds overnight! Look for the wild weather to calm down by this weekend, with hot weather returning.
Today was a mix of sun and clouds ahead of a strong storm coming our way. This storm will arrive after midnight, bringing heavy rain and south winds which will gust 25 to 35 mph! An isolated thunderstorm is possible as well. This is a quick moving storm, however, and the rain will taper to just a few scattered showers by Thursday.
The sun will return Friday, but strong north winds will blow in as well. Look for 35 to 40 mph gusts in the Valley! These winds will diminish Friday night.
By the weekend, high pressure will strengthen, and that will send Valley highs into the middle and upper 80's. Next week will cool back down some, but it should still be warm.
