Our recent warm weather will give way to wet and windy weather by Wednesday. We'll see a stormy finish to our week!
A strong winter storm will move into the North State on Wednesday, bringing an end to our recent spring like weather. Clouds will thicken in the morning, and rain will arrive by the afternoon. South winds will gust 30 to 40 mph by the afternoon as well, lasting into Wednesday night. Snow levels will start around 6000'.
The steady rain will turn to off and on showers by Thursday, and that's when the snow level should drop to around 4500'. Winds won't be quite as strong, but they'll still gust 25 to 30 mph... which will continue into Friday.
A second, weaker storm will brush by us on Friday, and give us a chance of showers. High pressure will return after that, and we'll dry up this weekend. High temperatures will warm to the upper 60's in the Valley by Sunday!
Next week will start warm, but another storm will cool us back down by mid-week.
