Wet and windy conditions are ahead for your Thursday Farmcast. Temperatures are starting out in the mid to high 40's in the valley this morning, and are projected to climb into the mid to high 50's this afternoon. Winds will be a big factor today. Sustained winds will be up to 20mph out of the South, with gusts up to around 30mph. Showers will begin to spread across the valley by noon, and will then strengthen across the region into the evening. Up to a half an inch of rain will be possible this afternoon and tonight. Your Thursday morning sunrise is set for 7:11am, and sunset will be at 4:42pm.
Showers do not look likely for the valley on Friday, but there will be a lingering chance for light precipitation into the early morning hours. Dry weather will then take hold of the region for most of Friday, and Saturday. The next chance for showers will arrive on Sunday, and last through Monday morning. Another likely chance for showers will then return to the region on Wednesday. Temperatures will range from the low 50's to low 60's over the next 7 days, with overnight low temperatures bottoming out in the mid 30's to mid 40's.
