It was another stormy day around the North State today, and we'll see one more day of that tomorrow before quiet weather returns this weekend.
Our storm from yesterday left lingering showers around the North State today, with snow continuing in the mountains. South winds continued to be strong, with most areas in the Valley getting 30 to 40 mph gusts. However, Redding saw gusts to 50 mph today! The strong winds will continue into Friday, as another winter storm is heading our way. It doesn't look quiet as wet, but we'll still see rain by Friday afternoon (maybe a few morning showers)... and the gusty winds will continue! Snow levels should remain near 3500'.
That storm will move east by Saturday, and we'll enjoy partly cloudy skies this weekend. Temperatures will be slow to warm up, but we'll see upper 60's by Sunday, and highs near 70 for most of next week.
