Wet, and cooler conditions are ahead for the north state in your Thursday forecast! Temperatures are starting out a bit warmer, with mid 60's to low 70's in the valley this morning, and mid to high 50's in most mountain areas. High temperatures this afternoon with only climb into the high 70's to low 80's in the valley, and high 60's to mid 79's.
Scattered showers are slowly making their way into the interior of the north state, and should continue to progress inland through the afternoon. There will also be the potential for thunderstorms across the entire north state in the afternoon as well. Precipitation amounts look to be around a tenth of an inch, with the most impacted areas seeing up to a quarter of an inch.
