Slightly cooler temperatures, and increasing clouds are ahead for the north state in your Friday forecast. There will be a chance for light showers returning to the Northwest corner of the state tonight, then the potential for showers spreading across the entire region tomorrow. Winds will be up to 10mph out of the South in the valley today, with gusts up to 20mph. Mountain winds will be out of the South to 15mph. Humidity values will be slightly higher this afternoon, and that will help limit fire danger.
Much cooler temperatures will be ahead for your weekend. Valley areas will be in the low to mid 80's, and mountain areas will mostly be in the 70's. Light showers will be possible throughout the entire north state on Saturday, with the best chance for wet weather arriving on Saturday morning. Dry weather, and clearing skies will return on Sunday. Temperatures are only expected to climb back into the high 80's to low 90's for the start of next week, but will cool back into the low to mid 80's by Wednesday. I hope everyone enjoys the cooler conditions on the way, has a fantastic Friday, and a wonderful weekend!
