A decent band of moisture has continued to progress through many areas of the north state overnight, and into this morning. The main impact has been in the Northern Mountains, and the northern end of the valley. There will continue to be a chance of at least light precipitation throughout the entire region for today, before dry weather returns to the valley tonight. Temperatures have only dipped into the mid 50's for the valley, and into the high 30's to high 40's in the mountains this morning. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to be in the mid 60's to low 70's for the valley, and mountain areas will be in the high 50's to mid 60's. Winds will be up to 10mph out of the North.

Temperatures will slowly warm through Thursday, with valley areas climbing back into the high 70's to low 80's. A steep drop in temperatures, and the potential for wet weather will be ahead for Friday. The potential for wet weather, and cooler temperatures will continue into your weekend forecast.
