Light and scattered showers are lingering through the valley this morning, with cooler temperatures than 24 hours ago. The brunt of the scattered showers are heading through Butte, and Tehama County so far, but there is potential for the light showers across the entire valley this morning. The next system will start to impact the region this afternoon, bringing more widespread, and steady precipitation. Temperatures are starting out in the mid to high 40's this morning, and will climb into the high 40's to mid 50's in the valley. Winds will shift, and become a little stronger than yesterday. Projections have winds reaching 10 to 15mph out of the Southeast. Your Tuesday sunrise is set for 7:22am, and sunset at 4:44pm.
A day of dry weather is ahead for Thursday, before the next wet system arrives on Friday. Your weekend looks to be cloudy, dry, and warmer.
