Some very welcome changes are ahead for your Wednesday, and late week forecast. Temperatures will be cooling down, and the active conditions are heading off to the East. There is still a chance for thunderstorms lingering into early this evening, but the brunt of the instability has tapered off. Winds will be picking up out of the South today, and that will help to keep temperatures in check this afternoon.
Valley locations are starting out in the mid 60's to low 70's this morning, and mountain areas have dipped into the mid 50's. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the low to mid 90's for the valley, and in the 80 to 90 degree range for the mountain areas. Even cooler temperatures will be ahead for Thursday, as the entire valley is expected to stay below 90 degrees. A modest rise in temperatures is expected for the weekend, but temperatures are projected to stay below average. Valley locations will climb into the low to mid 90's this weekend, and then jump back into the mid 90's to triple digits for the start of next week. I hope everyone is getting excited about the cooler temperatures on the way, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
