A dispute between the Durham Mutual Water Company and Butte Creek Country Club is in the process of reaching a resolution over the transportation of water. Butte Creek Country Club has been using a weir to transport water from a pond to irrigate their property. Water Company officials say the country club should pay 13,000 dollars a year to deliver the water. Board members from both parties met last Monday, and have agreed to reach a beneficial agreement through mediation. Water company officials say they believe they're within 30 days of a mutual resolution.
