Authorities are asking for the public's assistance locating three suspects who allegedly robbed and stabbed a Washington man before dumping him in a ditch.

Tehama County Sheriff's Officials say 22-year-old Ignacio Flores Geron was found face down in a ditch at the corner of Rawson Road and Gyle Road in Gerber just before 11 p.m Friday.

Geron had stab wounds to his back, abdomen and buttocks, and was transported to St. Elizabeth's Community Hospital where he is in stable condition.

Geron told investigators that he was at an unknown park in the Corning area and was approached by three men who threw him into a car and drove him to an unknown location where they stabbed him and stole $400.

Geron says the suspects appeared to be 23-25-years-old, but he could not describe the vehicle they were in or the park where he was grabbed.
