It was a wet & windy weekend around the North State, and there were still a few scattered showers and thunderstorms earlier Monday. But skies will clear overnight as high pressure returns to California, and warmer weather is ahead.
A bit of a north wind will develop in the Valley on Tuesday. Look for 10 to 25 mph gusts during the day, diminishing overnight. The Jarbo Gap winds will be back later this week on the Ridge at night, but not Monday night.
As high pressure strengthens, look for our temperatures to warm. Valley highs will reach the 70's by later this week, and this upcoming weekend still looks nice as well... Good weather for Valentine's Day! Nice weather for President's Day next Monday as well.
