Quiet weather ahead this week as high pressure strengthens over us. We'll see a few high clouds in the Valley on Tuesday from a big plume of moisture heading into the Pacific Northwest. That plume may provide a few showers near the Oregon border in Siskiyou & Modoc counties... but the rest of the North State will be dry, thanks to high pressure. The ridge will only strengthen this week, leading to Valley temperatures near 80 by this upcoming weekend.
This is only temporary, however... Long range models break the ridge down next week, and we'll see the storms return after that.
