It was a cool and sunny Veteran's Day around the North State. Look for warmer weather over the next few days before our next storm arrives on Sunday!
High pressure will gain strength over the next few days, and that will lead to afternoon highs warming up a bit. Overall, very nice Fall weather for us through Saturday.
Our next storm is due in Sunday, and models are now speeding up the timing just a bit, so it looks like the rain will arrive Sunday morning, then turn to showers by Sunday afternoon. This is yet another chilly storm, so snow levels will start around 5000' but drop to near 3500' by Sunday evening. This isn't a huge storm, but not small, either... An early estimate would be about 1/3" of rain for most Valley locations.
Models are keeping us unsettled next week. No big storms coming our way, but a couple of smaller ones for next Tuesday and Wednesday. We definitely need the rain, so this is great news!
And if you haven't already turned off your sprinklers for the season, now seems like a good time!
