Temperatures warmed up around the North State on Sunday, and look for even warmer weather coming our way as we finish off the month of May.
High pressure strengthened a bit today, so our temperatures warmed up. Highs reached the low 90's in Redding & Red Bluff, with 80's elsewhere in the Valley. A weak disturbance flirting with California will cool us down just slightly tomorrow, and re-fire up those afternoon showers and thunderstorms in the mountains. By Tuesday, the mountains should finally dry up, and later this week high pressure will really strengthen, so look for everyone in the Valley to reach the 90's. It's looking like a toasty finish to May!
Happy Memorial Day!
