Warming Trend Continues In Your Extended Forecast

Partly cloudy skies, and warmer temperatures are ahead for your Thursday forecast. The increase in clouds has left the region with warmer overnight low temperatures. Valley/foothill locations only dipped into the mid to high 40's overnight, while mountain areas dropped into the low 30's to low 40's. Afternoon high temperatures will climb into the high 60's to mid 70's in the valley/foothills, and the mid 50's to mid 60's in the mountains. Clouds are expected to fluctuate throughout the day, and will then clear out tonight. Winds will be light for the mountains, and up to 10mph out of the North for the valley.

Skies will continue to clear, and temperatures will continue to warm through the weekend. Valentines day is projected to be the warmest day of your extended forecast, with valley locations climbing into the low to mid 70's. There will be a slight drop in temperatures for the start of next week, but the sunny skies will linger. There will finally be a chance of showers returning towards the end of next week, but the better chance of showers will arrive next weekend. I hope everyone enjoys the warmer conditions ahead in your north state forecast, and has a great Thursday!
