Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, and warmer conditions are ahead for your Friday. The lack of clouds has allowed for more heat to escape overnight, and has resulted in cooler temperatures across the region this morning. Valley areas are starting out in the mid to high 30's, and mountain areas have dipped into the low 20's to mid 30's. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to be warmer than yesterday, with high 50's to low 60's in the valley, and mountain areas climbing into the mid 40's to mid 50's. Winds will mostly be light for today, and mostly mild conditions are expected.
There will be a chance of showers brushing the Northwest corner of the state late tonight, but that looks like the only real chance for wet weather through the weekend. Sunny skies return to the north state this weekend, and temperatures will warm into the low to mid 70's on Super Bowl Sunday. The sunny and warm conditions will persist through the start of next week, and some cities could have the potential to set new records for high temperatures. I hope everyone is able to enjoy the sunny and warmer conditions ahead for the next few days, has a fantastic Friday, and a wonderful weekend!
