Temperatures warmed up a bit today, and we're not done. Look for everyone in the Valley to see highs in the 90's by Friday!
High pressure is strengthening, and so our temperatures are warming up. Redding was the only location to reach 90 today in the North State, but tomorrow will be hotter... so Red Bluff and Corning should join Redding in the 90 degree club. By Friday, everyone in the Valley will see highs in the 90's! Saturday won't see much change, but an approaching small storm will spread clouds over us Sunday and begin to weaken high pressure, leading to a bit of a cool down. That weak storm will bring mountain showers and thunderstorms both Sunday and Monday, and continue to cool everyone down on Monday. The Valley should stay dry.
High pressure will quickly re-build starting Tuesday, leading to our temperatures warming back up. A gusty north wind could develop in the Valley on Tuesday.
