Temperatures have dipped into the mid 50's to low 60's in the valley overnight, and into the mid 30's to mid 40's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid 80's to low 90's for the valley, and into the mid 70's to mid 80's in the mountains. Winds will be out of the North to around 10mph in the valley, with gusts up to around 20mph. Mountain areas will have winds out of the Northeast to around 10mph.
Temperatures will continue to warm up over the next couple of days, and valley areas can expect a return to the low to mid 90's this weekend. The increase in North winds, and temperatures will result in higher fire danger over the next couple of days. Temperatures will stay above average on Monday, but will then begin to drop on Tuesday. Temperatures will then dip into the mid to high 80's for your first official day of the fall season on Wednesday.
