Nice weather today to finish off our work week. Even warmer weather is coming this weekend, and we could be near record high territory by next week!
High pressure is building over California, and our temperatures are starting to warm. It's still not strong enough to keep all the clouds out of the North State, and we saw a mix of sun and clouds today. A Pacific storm will bring more high clouds tomorrow, but the rain from this storm will stay north of us.
The ridge really gains strength by Sunday, and that when our skies will turn sunny and we'll really warm up. With the help of a light north breeze, look for Valley highs in the low 70's Sunday through Tuesday... close to records!
The ridge will break down after that, and we'll cool back down. By the end of next week, models are bringing a weak storm with light rain back into the North State.
