It was another very warm day around the North State today, and tomorrow looks warm as well! We'll cool back down closer to normal February temperatures by the end of the week.
High pressure is still strong over the west coast, and that sent highs back up into record territory again today. The ridge is weakening a bit however, and that trend will continue through the rest of the week... today should be our last day of widespread records tied or broken. A weak storm will spread clouds over us Thursday and Friday, but any rain from it looks to now stay confined to the Siskiyous on Friday.
This weekend should see Valley highs in the 60's, with a bit of a breezy north wind. Monday will be a warmer day, but high pressure really weakens after that. Long range models are bringing a decent storm in late next week!
