Mild weather continued today, and that won't change through the weekend. There are changes coming next week, however... rain will return!
High pressure remains strong over California, and that has kept our temperatures mild and storms away. We'll see partly cloudy skies tomorrow from a weak storm trying to move inland... but the rain from this storm will stay in the Pacific Northwest. As surface high pressure builds to our north behind this storm, look for breezy north winds in the Sacramento Valley on Sunday.
Next week will start off warm as well, but high pressure will finally break down later next week. A moderate winter storm will bring us cooler and wetter weather by the end of next week! There is also a chance of thunderstorms in the Valley as the low moves right over us.
So, enjoy the mild weather for the next few days! Old Man Winter is ready to return.
