It was a warm Wednesday across the North State, and we'll see more warm weather for St. Patrick's Day! It won't last too much longer, however... wet weather returns this Sunday.
High pressure has pushed the storm track north of us for a few days, and we enjoyed plenty of sunshine and warm weather today. This will continue through Saturday, so enjoy the warm weather while it's here!
High pressure will break down in response to a Pacific storm coming our way Sunday. Recent model runs are trending stronger and wetter with this storm, although it still doesn't look as wet as the storms we saw last weekend. Still, plan on a wet finish to the weekend, and showers should linger into Monday night as well! The sun should return Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, and temperatures will slowly recover.
The Vernal Equinox (beginning of Spring) is this Saturday, at 9:30 pm PDT.
