Warm & Mostly Dry For Valentines Day Weekend

Partly to mostly sunny skies, light winds, and above average temperatures are ahead for your Friday, and weekend forecast. Temperatures are starting out in the mid 40's to low 50's in the valley, and in the mid 20's to low 40's in the higher elevations this morning. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb back into the low to mid 70's in the valley, and into the high 50's to mid 60's in the mountains. Winds are expected to stay light for today, but the Sierra could have winds up to around 10mph out of the West.

A mix of sun and clouds will be ahead for the next 3 days, and the above average temperatures will continue through the start of next week. There will be a slight chance for some showers brushing the Northwest corner of the state through Sunday, with the most likely period of wet weather passing through Sunday morning. Skies will then clear out Sunday afternoon, and sunny skies are expected for the start of next week. Valley temperatures will top out in the mid 70's on Monday and Tuesday. Big changes arrive in the region on Wednesday. Temperatures will only climb into the mid 60's on Wednesday (still above average for this time of year), and wet weather will spread across the region. The middle to end of next week looks to be cooler than the last week, and very wet. I hope everyone enjoys the spring like weather ahead for your weekend forecast, and has a fantastic Friday!
