High pressure continues to keep us warm around the North State... Redding warmed to 82 on Wednesday! The rest of the Valley saw 70's for highs, still well above average for this time of year. A storm moving into the Pacific Northwest Thursday will weaken the ridge down just a little, allowing us to cool a couple of degrees. Clouds will thicken in Trinity & Siskiyou counties, but the rest of the North State will continue with mostly sunny skies.
High pressure will strengthen behind this weak storm, and push Valley highs to near 80 by Friday, lasting through the weekend. It will weaken next week, which will allow us to cool back down to near 70. Veteran's Day next Tuesday is looking very nice. Long range models are trying to bring a weak storm to us late next week... we'll see.
