It was another warm day around California as high pressure continues to keep us dry. The Valley saw highs in the 60's, and so did some areas in the mountains! A few record highs were broken in the mountains today... and that could happen again tomorrow, as high pressure won't change in strength until later this week. That's when we'll see our temperatures drop a bit (back to normal)... but still no rain in sight for the next week. The weak storm that was coming on Friday now looks like it's going to get washed out by high pressure.
However... models are continuing to indicate this ridge will break down in a little less than 2 weeks, and the storm door will open back up. That's a long ways out and far from set in stone... But certainly something we'll be watching carefully. Until then... we'll be dry.
