ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Stephen Vogt homered twice, Sonny Gray took a shutout into the seventh inning while mixing 10 strikeouts with a career-high seven walks, and the Oakland A's beat the Texas Rangers 7-1 Sunday.

Vogt hit a solo shot in the sixth. He added his sixth homer of the season, a three-run drive in the seventh right after Texas reliever Alex Claudio entered for a lefty vs. lefty matchup.

Gray (4-0) surpassed his season total of six walks, but still extended his shutout streak against the Rangers to 23 2-3 innings.

Gray also hit a batter and threw a wild pitch in 6 2-3 innings. He beat Yovani Gallardo (2-4) again in a rematch of opening day starters.
