Very hot, sunny, and dry conditions are ahead for your Tuesday Farmcast. Temperatures have dipped into the mid 50's to low 60's for the valley overnight, and are projected to climb into the 92 to 97 degree range this afternoon. Those high temperatures are 10 to 15 degrees above average for this time of year. Valley winds will be up to 10mph out of the Northwest, and humidity values will fall to around 15 percent again this afternoon. The hot temperatures, North winds, and very low humidity values will continue to drive elevated fire danger across the region over the next couple of days. Your Tuesday morning sunrise is set for 7:15am, and sunset will be at 6:31pm.
Temperatures will continue to be above average over the next few days, but are expected to be slightly cooler than today. Clouds will begin to fill into the north state from the South later this week, and temperatures will be significantly cooler on Friday. There will be a slight chance for showers returning to the region on Friday, but wet weather looks to be much more likely on Saturday. Temperatures will be closer to average this weekend, with valley areas topping out in the low to mid 80's.
