The sunny and warm weather continued today, but changes are coming... and we could see a few thunderstorms in the Valley soon!
Valley high temperatures warmed into the middle 70's today, and we'll be close to that again tomorrow. A cold and unstable storm will move into the Pacific Northwest on Sunday... that will cool us a down a little and thicken clouds up, but we should remain dry. That low moves right overhead on Monday, and while moisture is very limited... there should be enough instability to pop up a few scattered showers and maybe even a thunderstorm. There's just not enough moisture for there to be a whole lot however... just a few are possible.
The mountains will see snow showers develop Sunday night, and last through Wednesday. Snow levels should drop to near 3500' by Monday night, adding to our already good snowpack! Amounts won't be tremendous, but you'll definitely need your winter driving gear if your going to the mountains early next week.
High pressure will return late next week, and we'll see Valley highs warm back to near 70 by late next week as well.
