UPDATED: Atluras shooting victims identified as shooterâ??s relatives

According to the AP, Modoc County Sheriff Mike Poindexter identified the four people who died in the shooting.

He said they included the suspect's brother, 50-year-old Rurik Davis, her niece, 19-year-old Angel Penn and her nephew, 30-year-old Glenn Calonicco.

Police say Cherie Lash Rhoades, former chairwoman of the Cedarville Rancheria tribe, shot and killed the four people on Thursday during a meeting at tribal headquarters about evicting her and her son from tribal land

Two other people were wounded. Police said one of them was alert and talking. The other remained in critical condition.

The suspect, 44-year-old Sherie Lash, aka Sherie Rhoades, of Cedarville is scheduled to be in court on Tuesday.

Rhoades is a former chairwoman of the Cedarville Rancheria, a federally recognized tribe with 35 members. She was taken into custody yesterday after allegedly shooting five people and stabbing another. Four people were killed in the shooting two women ages 19 and 45 and two men, 30 and 50. The other shooting victim and the stabbing victim were flown to a hospital for treatment.

Rhoades was at tribal eviction hearing with her son, 24-year-old Jack Stockton when the shooting occurred around 3:30 p.m. She was taken into custody and moved to an undisclosed location for safety purposes last night.

CHP, The Modoc County Sheriff’s Office and The Alturas Police Department are investigating the case. There is a press conference schedule for 10:00 a.m.
