Cal Trans reported Thursday that a section of Highway 299 two-and-a-half miles east of Douglas City is now clear.
A large boulder was blocking lanes in both directions, however it was cleared approximately 5 p.m. Thursday.
Normal traffic has resumed.
Cal Trans is reporting a rock slide on Highway 299 two-and-a-half miles east of Douglas City.
Cal Trans crews and California Highway Patrol is on scene.
There is no indication on how long the stretch of highway will be closed. Motorists are warned to avoid the area, if possible.
