Redding Police made a new arrest Friday morning in the murder of a Redding man that happened Jan. 6 in Redding.
Litoshna Casia Wilson, 32, of Shasta Lake, was taken in to custody around 9:20 a.m. Friday morning at her home in Shasta Lake City.
Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Wilson after several weeks of investigation in the murder of Jon Boring. Wilson was the third arrest made in the murder investigation. Robert Pasillas turned himself in a week after the investigation began. He remains in jail facing murder charges. Proudstar Wilson was detained Jan. 25 in Happy Valley, but was released Thursday night for lack of evidence.
Redding Police are continuing to investigate several leads into Boring’s murder.
Redding Police Detectives, investigating the January 6th murder of a man in a Douglas Lane home now have a 2nd second suspect in custody.
21-year-old Proudstar Wilson was arrested Monday in Happy Valley without incident. After being questioned by investigators Wilson was booked into the Shasta County Jail on one count of homicide. She's been on the run since 52-year-old Jon Boring was murdered. Authorities did not say how they found Wilson.
The primary suspect in the case, 25-year-old Robert Pasillas turned himself in a week after the murder. Investigators have determined that two more people were at least witnesses to the murder if not actual participants in it. They are still asking anyone with information to call Redding Police.
