The Butte County Coroner is still working to identify two victims in Thursday's fatal fire in Cohasset. According to Cal Fire Division Chief David Hawks, they were killed in the blaze that tore through a mobile home on Cohasset Road. 'Firefighters arrived within a few minutes of the call, said Hawks. 'Eighty-percent of the single-wide mobile was involved when firefighters arrived on scene.' He said the first call came in from a cell phone at 9:16pm. It wasn't clear if the call was made by a neighbor or a passer-by. Hawks said once firefighters arrived, they went into defensive mode, keeping the blaze contained to the mobile home and away from an adjacent structure. As they battled the flames, he said a man walked up to firefighters with severe burns to his face, chest, and arms. Firefighters administered first-aid, then rushed him to Enloe Medical Center. Hawks said it was likely the man was flown to U.C. Davis, due to the extent of his injuries. The Butte County Coroner is working to identify the two deceased victims using dental records. Hawks said the fire is considered 'accidental.'
