Authorities apprehended four people following a standoff at a home near 4th Avenue and Warner Street in Chico Thursday.

According to Chico Police, the standoff was related to an early morning shooting at 1848 Rancheria Drive. Suspects were seen fleeing the scene to the area of 4th and Warner.

Authorities set up a perimeter around a home on 4th Avenue, the same home that had been targeted in a drive-by shooting Tuesday morning.

The SWAT team was called to the scene just after 9:30 a.m. and witnesses reported hearing two loud bangs just before officers escorted four people out of the home.

Thursday night Chico Police stated they arrested one of the four people they detained on unrelated charges following Thursday morning's shooting and subsequent standoff.

The four people inside the home reportedly refused to come out of the home on 4th Avenue and Warner Street.

Police are still searching for a Hispanic male, who they say fled the Rancheria drive-by shooting on a bicycle.
