Tickets are on sale now for the 2014 California Nut Festival at the historic Patrick Ranch south of Chico.
It’s the 5th year for the event, which includes Live Music on two outdoor stages, in addition to cooking demonstrations the will include Old Sacramento’s Ten 22 Executive Chef Jay Veregge and the Executive Chef of Chico’s own Mom’s Restaurant.
The day features “farm to fork” culinary delights … all using nuts of course! Local merchants will provide tastes of food, wine and beer with the focus on locally grown food.
The festival pays tribute to the North State’s strong farming heritage and there’s the opportunity to speak one on one with many of them.
The event is a benefit for the Patrick Ranch. General admission tickets are $25 in advance or $30 the day of the event. Children ages 7 – 12 are $10 and it’s free for kids 6 and under. Tickets can be purchased at Tri Counties Bank locations.
