Much needed rain moved into the North State today, and we'll continue with off-and-on showers through the weekend. A weak storm won't be strong enough to provide steady rain all weekend long, but it has just enough moisture and instability to bring us pockets of rain. So, there will be periods of dry weather followed by some wet weather repeating through the weekend.
A second, stronger storm will drop south from the north Pacific to off of California by Sunday. We'll see a bit of a break in the wet weather Monday, then that second storm surges ashore next Tuesday and Wednesday with a steady rain for us, which will turn to just a few scattered showers again on Thursday. Overall... an unsettled and wet week is ahead for us! But it won't rain steady the next seven days, just in spells.
The snow level should hover around 5000'.
