Uncle Dad's Art Collective presents "Purple Rain"

Uncle Dad's Art Collective and A.S. Productions at CSU, Chico are teaming up to bring a concert featuring Prince's "Purple Rain" album in it's entirety ... each song performed by a different local artist. It takes place Saturday, February 21st at 8 p.m. in the Bell Memorial Union on campus. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Joshua Hegg of Uncle Dad's and Bogg says the Prince Album was chosen because of it's impact on music and pop culture. This is the 5th concert coordinated by the collective with songs from a full album ... The Beatles, Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd are some of the past chosen artists.

The concert will feature more th an 50 local musicians, dancers, mult-media and performance artists, including: Aubrey Debauchery & the Broken Bones, Hannah Jane Kile, Bogg, The LoLos, The Mondegreens, Western Divide, Solar Estates, The Shimmies, Sisterhoods, and Wanderers and Wolves, among others.
